Workshop 4: Educational Resources for Chemical Safety Training

The CheSSE Erasmus+ project supports teachers, teacher educators, and school leaders in navigating chemical safety in science and chemistry education. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to chesse.org – a free resource developed by universities and partner schools in Sweden, Slovenia, Finland, and Norway. The website provides practical guidance on routines, labelling, risk assessment, waste disposal, and green chemistry, supported by flexible training materials. During the session, participants will explore selected training modules, including activities on labelling and risk assessment, and learn how these adaptable resources can strengthen chemical safety practices in schools.

Note: This workshop follows a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops or tablets to actively engage with the material during the session.

Capacity: This workshop can hold up to 30 participants to maintain an interactive and hands-on learning environment.
